SF/South Bay Area multi-state CCW/Defensive Pistol Course

Sandpoint Arms in Association with The Calguns Foundation will be presenting an 8 hour, multi-state CCW/ Defensive Pistol Class on April 21, 2012 in Morgan Hill, CA.

The cost for the course is $175. (includes $25 tax-deductible donation to support CGF’s Carry License Initiative)

The training for this class will provide you with the certifications to apply for your Arizona, Florida and Oregon CCW licenses. It is your choice which to apply for.

Ammunition
Malfunctions
Concealed Carry Safety and the Defensive Mindset
Components Essential for Lawful Self Defense
Strategies for Personal Safety Outside the Home
Presenting the Pistol from a Holster
Utilizing Cover and Concealment
Defensive Shooting Fundamentals & Skills
Engaging Multiple Targets

The class is compromised of classroom time as well as range time.

This class is an excellent opportunity for anyone (even if you do not wish to obtain a CCW) who has never been able to actually shoot after drawing from a holster, shoot while moving, engage multiple targets and use cover and concealment while shooting from different positions.

There are not many places in the Bay area which will allow you to do any of the above. We have explicit permission as an approved instructor to allow this during our classes here.

We will have Arizona & Florida CCW applications and fingerprint cards available for all students and will go through the process of filling them out during the class.

If you apply for all 3 licenses you will be able to legally carry, through reciprocity agreements, in 36 states including Nevada, Oregon & Washington State.

Florida & Arizona licenses can be obtained completely via mail.

Oregon must be submitted in person. The Oregon license will not gain you any states other than Oregon itself. If you do not plan on visiting Oregon you need not apply for this license.

The fees for the CCW licenses are as follows:

Florida – $117 – 7 years
Arizona – $60 – 5 years
Oregon – $65 – 4 years
