Sandpoint Arms & Calguns Foundation will be presenting an 8 hour, multi-state CCW/ Defensive Pistol Class on April 21, 2012 in Morgan Hill, CA.The cost for the course is $175. (includes $25 tax-deductible donation to support CGF’s Carry License Initiative)The training for this class will provide you with the certifications to apply for your Arizona, Florida and Oregon CCW licenses.

The class is compromised of classroom time as well as range time.
This class is an excellent opportunity for anyone (even if you do not wish to obtain a CCW at this time) who would like to actually receive instruction and be able to shoot after drawing from a holster, shoot while moving, engage multiple targets and use cover and concealment while shooting from different positions.
There are not many places in the Bay area which will allow you to do any of the above. We have explicit permission as an approved instructor to allow this during our classes here.
We will be providing the Arizona & Florida carry license application packets and fingerprint cards to all students and will go through the process of filling them out during the class.
By obtaining the AZ, FL and OR licenses you will be able to legally carry in 35 states including Arizona, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, Utah, Idaho and New Mexico. These 35 states compromise almost 70% of the US.
Florida & Arizona licenses can be obtained completely via mail.
Oregon must be submitted in person. The Oregon license will not gain you any states other than Oregon itself. If you do not plan on visiting Oregon you need not apply for this license.
The fees paid directly to the states for the Concealed Carry Licenses are as follows:
Florida – $117 – 7 years
Arizona – $60 – 5 years
Oregon – $65 – 4 years
