Security Officer Exposed Firearms Permit
Price $150.00 for first caliber, $25.00 each additional caliber.
This two day fourteen hour course of instruction will provide the student with the requirements set forth by the Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (BSIS) for obtaining an exposed firearms permit. This course of instruction combines lecture and live fire and covers the ethical, moral and legal aspects pertaining to the ownership, transportation and use of firearms in the line of duty. There will be an undetermined waiting period of approximately thirty days and sometimes more before licenses are issued by BSIS.
Recommended calibers for the course are .38/.357, 9mm, 40S&W, or 45ACP / GAP. 100 rounds of ammunition is the minimum requirement, more may be needed due to students skill level. If you do not currently own a firearm, one may be rented please let us know in advance so that arrangements can be made.

Security Officer Firearms Permit Re-Qualifications
Price $40.00 for first caliber, $10.00 for each additional caliber.
BSIS requires that all Security Officers Licensed to carry an Exposed Firearm must complete a Re-qualification every six months.
Weaponless Defense/Arrest & Control
Price $80.00
This is a basic four hour course that includes combative movement and restraining techniques. Use and knowledge of handcuffs and transporting are covered. Reviewing the Use of Force Spectrum.

Baton
Price $150.00
This eight hour baton certification course is designed to give students the minimum level of proficiency to carry and use a baton while on duty as private security guards.
Goal:
To effectively train officers in the use of impact weapons through exercise, role playing and on-hand testing. Students will demonstrate the proper use of police batons.
Students will also recognize the laws which govern their privilege to carry batons in the course of their duties and the art of using the police baton as a defensive impact weapon. This course includes endorsements:
- Straight Baton
- Expandable Baton
- Side Handle Baton (Optional)
- Kubaton (Optional)
- Short Billy Club (Optional)
Upon completion of this course, students will receive a certification issued by the Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (BSIS) and certification by the instructor with specific baton authorization.

Chemical Agents

This four hour certification course provides the required training needed prior to carrying OC/Pepper Spray while on duty and also includes certification in the proper application. This course is open to the public (a Guard Card is not needed to attend).
