This one day eight hour course consists of
Power to Arrest (PTA)
Weapons of Mass Destruction/Terrorism Awareness training, and meets the State’s training requirements for the student to obtain a California State Guard Card.
The Process
Step 1 – Register for Class & Pay $75.00 Class Fee
Step 2 – Eight Hour PTA Class
Step 3 – PTA Test (open book given at class)
Step 4 – Finger Printing (Federal, State & Fee)
Step 5 – State Application & Fee
Step 6 – Receive Guard Card From State
Step 7 – Within Thirty Days – Sixteen Hours of Continuing Education (CEC)
Step 8 – Within Three Months – Sixteen Additional Hours of Continuing Education (CEC)
